Large-Signal Stabilization of Power Converters Cascaded Input Filter Using Adaptive Energy Shaping Control

چکیده

Series connection of input filters with static converters might lead to instability. However, the filter has rarely taken into account in stable design power converters. Indeed, an LC cascaded a converter can become unstable even if is regulated by tight controller ensuring its stability alone. This fact due interactions between and converter. To tackle instability potential, adaptive energy shaping control (AESC), which based on interconnection damping assignment passivity-based (IDA-PBC), addressed this article regulate system achieve following attractive features: 1) filter's dynamics are considered law, so during 2) influence several subsystems, put cascade, proposed method, new large-signal proof given accordingly. Simulation experimental results from 3.5-kW, 270-200-V buck under different load conditions, i.e., constant impedance (CIL), current (CCL), (CPL), presented demonstrate approach.

Extended Noise-shaping in Cascaded N-tone Σ∆ Converters

An N-tone Σ∆ converter is obtained by introducing N zeros in the noise transfer function (NTF) while maintaining a flat signal transfer function (STF). N-tone Σ∆ converters are particularly well suited for multi-carrier systems. While oversampling is a widely used technique to improve the resolution of the converter, different methods will have to be explored for systems with low over-sampling....

Control of Flexible Link Robot using a Closed Loop Input-Shaping Approach

This paper is has addressed the Single Flexible Link Robot. The dynamical model is derived using Euler-Lagrange equation and then a proper controller is designed to suppress a  vibration based-on Input-Shaping (IS) method. But, IS control method is an open loop strategy. Due to the weakness of open loop control systems, a closed loop IS control system is proposed. The achieved closed loop c...

Control of processes with dead time and input constraints using control signal shaping

Using the idea of ‘shaping the control signal’, the authors generalise the time-delayfilter-based deadbeat control for processes with dead time to a two-level control so that actuator saturation is avoided. The controller mimics experienced manual operation to provide a two-level control signal. At the first stage (level), the controller outputs a value very close to the actuator saturation bou...

Estimation of harmonic interference parameters of surface-NMR signal using an adaptive method and residual signal power

Surface nuclear magnetic resonance (surface-NMR) method is a well-known tool for determining the water-bearing layers and subsurface resistivity structure. Harmonic interference is an inevitable interference in surface-NMR measurements. Accurate estimation of harmonic interference parameters (i.e., fundamental frequency, phase and amplitude) leads to better retrieval of power-line harmonics and...

Nonlinear and Adaptive Control of Buck Power Converters

~~ This paper focuses on the problem of controlling DC-to-DC switched power converters of Buck type. The system nonlinear feature is coped with by resorting to the backstepping control approach. Both adaptive and nonadaptive versions are designed and shown to yield quite interesting tracking and robustness performances. A comparison study shows that backstepping nonlinear controllers perform as...
